LEGENDARY ACTOR MOIN AKHTAR IS NO MORE WITH US

Pakistan’s legendary actor Moin Akhtar has passed away with heart attack here at Karachi today. He does a fabulous work on TV, stage and movies during his carrier. His most famous TV serial was Aangan Tera and Loose Talk. He started his carrier in 60’s and he was in boom in 70’s to 80’s he gave a new era with his remarkable acting to the Pakistan television and film industry. During his last days of his life he was still working on many projects. May ALLAH BLESS HIS SOUL. AMEEN

Have a look on his acting skills..

DUNYA AUR LARKI (World and a Girl)

Girls' education has remained marginalised in the political and general discourse of Pakistan. Certain areas of Pakistan have lowest female literacy rates in the world and in such circumstances it is imperative that immediate attention be paid to this chronic issue. Educated women are agents of change and Pakistan is in dire need of a social change that empowers its women.

This animated sequel, "Dunya Aur Larki", is a concept that rotates around the life experiences of many underprivileged girls in Pakistan. This particular story is told through the eyes of a young girl who simply wants to go to school and have a better future; not only for her but for the community around her.

EXAMS ARE COMING..

Student of MBBS has another stone to grind

There are thousands of students studying MBBS in abroad. They went to China, Russia and many other countries across the world. But if you are a Chinese MBBS graduate then you have to face may hurdles in Pakistan.

PMDC did not accpet chinese MBBS and the reason why they conduct an exam for them to check either they fall to work in pakistan of not but now another stone has been thrown. Now they cant even do their internship which previously they were doing in Public Hospitals in Punjab now they have to pay a huge fees to the Medical colleges running along with a hospital in consideration with high fees for internship work which was free in the past and government accommodate those students in the past with a little salary.

Now Private colleges will have a good business after these instructions and students will be crushed again by such type of idiotic steps by the Government of Punjab. A few Medical college in Punjab which are really famous they denied accepting Chinese Students in their college are CMH Lahore and Fatima Memorial College Lahore.

This is really a sad news for all the students looking for internship in June-2011.

Why sports is importand in education

A bookworm will keep on studying all the time and prepare for his time tables, exams, books and his life will just revolve around these things...

But one should always remember that a sound body will have a sound mind..and for mind we need to be diversify ourselves by means of taking parts in sports activities to make our mind fresh and energetic.Once our mind gets fresh it will increase our mind efficiency to work quite longer...i will suggest students stop being bookworm and pay some attention to the sports it will learn them how to bear pressure and how to handle difficult problems with our skills hence quite helpful it giving sportsmanship impression.

From my point of view schools and colleges should introduce a separate department in the school premisis who work on sports activities continuously through the year. It will encourage students to take part in the sports and extra curriculum activates to enhance and develop their mental level.

A suicide attack on Education

These days it is heard through media that HEC (Higher Education Commission) is going to dissolve and Higher education is being transferred to the related provinces. It is an Alarming condition when HEC was making progress by leaps and bounds.

It was HEC because of this our degrees were acceptable internationally and they were introducing a many reforms in education sector. Not only in Asia but HEC was promoting Pakistani higher education through the world.

HEC tries to deploy PhD's staff in best rank universities. Because of this type of act by the commission now many brilliant students tried to get PhD's to serve their nation.

Due to dissolution many a student studying on scholarships couldn't be able to continue their studies in the other part of the world and a many students whom scholarships was confirmed by the commission couldn't go for their PHD's to abroad.

We all known that why commission went into the cloud by the government it was just because of fake degree scandal of parliament members but this incident will below our education like suicide attack...

A news to make us Proud

Literacy Rate in Pakistan

Literacy Rate in Pakistan

Pakistan retains 161 positions with 54.2% out of 178 countries in the world and 29th in the literacy rate in Asia. This is the lowest position that a country could retain when it is known as a 7th Atomic Power in the world. The fact is these figures are alarming and there was continuous development needed in the previous years. National education budget for 2007 was Rs.95.442 million which is 2.2% of the GDP.
Literacy rates among Male 69% and Female 45%. Clearly there is discrimination between male and female education. There is major problem is that there are no proper schools and colleges in the villages and small towns. A number of colleges and schools have been closed because of insufficient funds and manorial system.
There is a worst problem is that there are two education system running parallel. One is English system known as A & O levels and other is education system implemented by the government. Elite class went for English system as it is expensive and bearable for these only and other is Pakistan Education System usually knows as Primary, Inter, Metric and Higher Secondary. You know there is the problem with both of them and its solution is that we need to upgrade our Pakistani Education System not only the books but exams and also teachers behavior needs to be sophisticated with the students.
There is a big mess with the people ideology that they want their son to be educated but don’t want so in case of their daughter according to them they have to marry one day and why they should be educated. So a big change of Ideology needs to be work on it. They should get through it that importance of education in a boy is as same as in a girl.
